Standard Clear Glass - All of our prints and textiles are framed in our high quality regular framing glass (except for our XL sizes which has clear acrylic). This glass blocks no more than 45% of UV light and is reflective.

Non-Reflective Glass - is etched on one-side to diffuse light reflection. It is this non-reflective property that ensures you can see your artwork, even when hung in an area with lots of light (it does not protect your artwork though from UV light).

Clear Acrylic - or 'Perspex' is a popular alternative to glass, offering a light-weight and shatterproof option. A soft, micro-fibre cloth must be used for cleaning the acrylic to minimise scratching. Acrylic does not protect your artwork against UV light. 

Ultra-Vue Glass - This 2.0mm thick glass offers crystal clear colour transmission and a virtually invisible, anti-reflective surface for truly amazing clarity. It offers 70% protection from harmful UV light.

Museum Glass - No other glass product compares to Museum Glass. This industry leading glass product provides 99% UV protection to protect against fading, and is optically coated for a virtually invisible finish, to create amazing clarity. The result is the most attractive and most protective display option for all works of art.

Please note: All our XL Prints have acrylic not glass to minimise breakages during transit. 

Standard Delivery Service

Our standard delivery is a basic ‘drop & go’ courier service with Aramax (formerly Fastway).

Aramax will deliver your art to a specified delivery address during business hours only. The couriers are unable to contact clients prior to delivery and specific delivery times cannot be scheduled. This is why we offer this service as an affordable delivery option.

Designer Boys will email shipping confirmation details to you with your Aramex tracking information. Please report any damages or faults to Designer Boys within 24 hours of signing for the goods, otherwise the transit insurance will become invalid.

Premium Delivery Service

Our ‘bespoke’ delivery service is for those clients who want a greater delivery experience compared to our Standard courier service. There is an additional charge for this premium service.

We are now working with a specialist delivery company (TLC Transport) to deliver our artworks to clients along the East Coast only.

TLC will contact you or your client to arrange delivery on their nominated delivery days. At their discretion, the TLC team may carefully unpack and remove all rubbish, except for the protective cardboard corners, at no charge. All steps are taken with care and pride to ensure that any damages are avoided. Please inspect all deliveries before signing to accept the order.

Areas of operation includes: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Tweed, North Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Albury, Wodonga, Geelong, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

We are currently unable to offer premium delivery to Adelaide, Perth, Far North Queensland and regional areas.

NOTE FOR ALL DELIVERIES: Designer Boys cannot be held responsible for late or failed deliveries for reasons outside our control e.g. third-party couriers / freight companies or in the case of adverse weather conditions / covid restrictions.

It is recommended that the artwork is displayed under indirect lighting conditions & away from any contact with moisture & high levels if humidity.

Please do not display the artwork in direct sun, in humid conditions, near gas heaters or air conditioning vents.

If the room experiences regular temperature changes between when air-conditioning being turned on and off (Therefore different levels of temperature and humidity) - this can result in the warping of the matt board (and this is a not a fault of the artwork's manufacturing). 

If an artwork is displayed in a coastal home, we highly recommend regular cleaning of any metallic style frames to prevent salt build. Salt spray can result in the corrosion on the frame (and is not a fault in the frame).
